The Flood Warning continues for
the Anclote River at Elfers
* from tomorrow late morning through Thursday morning.
* At 09 PM Saturday the stage was 19.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by tomorrow late morning and
continue to rise to near 21.7 feet by Tuesday early afternoon.The river is
expected to fall below flood stage by early Thursday morning.
* Impact... at 22.0 feet... there is water over the roadway along the Elfers
Parkway.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 21.6 feet on Mar 14
2010.

the Cypress Creek at Worthington Gardens
* until further notice.
* At 08 PM Saturday the stage was 9.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 9.1 feet by Wednesday evening.
Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 8.0 feet... flooding begins at the Recreation Area on State Road
54.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 8.8 feet on Sep 30
2013.

... Flood Watch now in effect through Monday afternoon...

The Flood Watch is now in effect for

* portions of FL and west central Florida... including the
following in FL... coastal ... Citrus... coastal Hernando...
coastal Hillsborough... coastal Levy... coastal Pasco... inland
Citrus... inland Hernando... inland Hillsborough... inland Levy
and inland Pasco. In west central Florida... Pinellas.

* Through Monday afternoon

* the potential for excessive rainfall through Monday with
localized accumulation totals exceeding 6 inches.

* Saturated soils and the potential for additional heavy rainfall
through Monday will increase the risk of areal and street
flooding. If possible... clear drainage systems of any debris
which may become clogged in flooding rains.

A Flood Watch means that flooding is possible during the next
24 to 36 hours. Residents living in flood prone areas should take
action to protect property.
