Nowcast | as of 4:06 PM EDT on September 3, 2015

Scattered showers and lightning storms will continue to develop along the Gulf...East Coast...and Lake Okeechobee breezes as well as other outflow boundaries through the early evening hours. The highest coverage of activity is expected across Collier...Mainland Monroe...Hendry and Glades County...however isolated storms are possible along the western side of the East Coast Metro as the sea breeze moves in. Storms will move little this afternoon and torrential rainfall can be expected with most activity. Frequent lightning strikes will accompany stronger storms.
