... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am EST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am EST this morning.

* Locations... much of north and central Georgia... mainly along
and south of a line from Hollingsworth to Cartersville to Etna
line.

* Visibilities... one quarter of a mile or less.

* Timing... through 9 am.

* Impacts... dense fog will create low visibilities during the
morning commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If
driving... slow down... use your headlights... and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.

Patchy dense fog has developed across portions of north and
central Georgia this morning. Visibilities between one quarter
