... Freezing Rain Advisory in effect until noon EST Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued
a Freezing Rain Advisory... which is in effect until noon EST
Sunday.

* Locations... the non mountainous portions of Oconee and Pickens
counties... along with Anderson County... in South Carolina.

* Hazards... freezing rain.

* Timing... rain will become more widespread across the area
overnight and continue into Sunday morning. The rain will change
to freezing rain by about 400 am and continue until temperatures
warm above freezing late in the morning.

* Accumulations... up to 0.05 inch of ice glaze.

* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions due to slick roadways.
Isolated power outages due to downed trees or power lines.

* Temperatures... lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s.

* Winds... northeast 5 to 10 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
