* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will remain near 14.9 feet.
* Impact... at 15.0 feet... minor low land flooding adjacent to the
river can be expected.

* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
early Tuesday morning.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... flood stage. Minor flooding of low lying
areas adjacent to creek can be expected.

... Patchy black ice possible across eastern North Carolina this
morning...

Temperatures below freezing combined with residual moisture will
lead to patchy icy spots this morning. Overall expect minimal
impacts on roadways due to warm ground temperatures... though some
slick spots may develop on elevated surfaces such as bridges and
overpasses. Temperatures are not expected to rise above freezing
until late this morning and early afternoon.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to remain alert for slick
spots.
