... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST Sunday...

* hazard... very cold air and wind.

* Wind chill readings... 10 below to 20 below zero... except 20 to
30 below zero across the High Mountain terrain.

* Timing... late tonight into Sunday morning.

* Winds... northwest 15 to 25 mph... gusts 30 to 40 mph.

* Temperatures... from 5 below zero across high elevations to 10
above zero along some river valleys tonight.

* Impacts... frost bite and hypothermia are possible if
precautions are not taken.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and
gloves. Limit your exposure time outdoors.

... Snow squalls will affect northeastern Boone... southern Kanawha...
Pocahontas... Nicholas... Randolph... Webster... southwestern Clay and
Fayette counties...

At 1210 am EST... snow squalls were along a line extending from
Hendricks to near Richwood to 6 miles west of Madison... and moving
southeast at 25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 35 mph are possible with these squalls... and
visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile.
Roads can become snow covered within ten minutes time.

Locations impacted include...
Charleston... Elkins... Summersville... Fayetteville... Richwood... Rainelle...
Marlinton... Cass Scenic Railroad... Babcock State Park... Webster Springs...
Greenbank... Oak Hill... Montgomery... Chesapeake... Marmet... Mount Hope...
Ansted... Belle... Cedar Grove and East Bank.

This includes the following highways...
West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 55 and 95.
Route 119 between mile markers 56 and 63... and between mile markers
68 and 70.
