Statement as of 9:33 PM EST on February 28, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect from 3 am Sunday to 7 am
EST Monday...

* locations... the Laurel Highlands.

* Hazard types... snow. There is a chance of freezing rain in the
afternoon... but mainly over Somerset County.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 6 inches.

* Ice accumulations... a trace to one-tenth of an inch.

* Timing... snow will overspread the region early Sunday morning
and continue into Sunday night. The snow could mix with freezing
rain in the afternoon or evening... but most of the precipitation
should be snow. The snow will taper off to light snow showers
through the night Sunday night.

* Impacts... hazardous travel from snow or slush covered roads
and poor visibility at times. Across southern parts of the
state untreated roadways and walkways may become icy if the
freezing rain mixes in to the snow.

Hazardous winter weather conditions are expected or occurring.
