... Wind Advisory in effect from 8 am Monday to midnight EDT
Monday night...

The National Weather Service in Burlington has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 8 am Monday to midnight EDT
Monday night.

* Locations... the northwestern slopes of the Adirondacks and
western slopes of the Green Mountains... as well as western
Rutland County and LaMoille County.

* Hazards... strong gusty winds.

* Winds... southeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing... breezy southeasterly winds will become strong during
the daytime hours on Monday... then weaken overnight.

* Impacts... winds of this magnitude are capable of bringing down
small to medium size tree limbs and may cause isolated power
outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph or more are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
