... Special Weather Statement...
moderate to briefly heavy rainfall is currently affecting the
northern Champlain Valley into the eastern slopes of the
northeastern Adirondack Mountains. Rainfall amounts of between 0.5
and 1 inch will be possible with this activity through 1230 PM
which will cause ponding of water on area roads. Many smaller
streams and creeks may also see sharp rises through mid afternoon
as a result of this rainfall, but no flooding is expected.
