Statement as of 3:29 AM EST on March 05, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EST this
evening...

* locations... portions of northeast Pennsylvania and northwest
New Jersey.

* Hazard types... long duration snow.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 5 inches.

* Timing... snow will continue into the afternoon.

* Temperatures... in the mid 20s.

* Wind... becoming north and gusting to 20 mph.

* Impacts... significant travel impacts are expected today.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.

Special Statement
Statement as of 9:15 AM EST on March 05, 2015

... An area of heavier snow moving through this morning...

As of 910 am, National Weather Service Doppler radar and surface
reports indicated an area of heavier snow moving across the area.

The snowfall rates will be up to an inch per hour at times, which
will reduce the visibilities to one half mile or less. The
combination of increased snowfall rates and temperatures below
freezing will result in hazardous Road conditions.

If you must travel, slow down. Use extra caution especially on
bridges and other elevated surfaces and be prepared for poor Road
conditions and visibilities.
