Special Statement
Statement as of 8:47 AM EDT on May 05, 2015

... Dry fuels and low relative humidities will increase fire weather
concerns this afternoon...

With little to no recent rain... fine fuels remain very dry according
to the Vermont department of Forest... Parks... and recreation. This
combined with minimum relative humidity values between 20 and 30
percent and northwest winds from 10 to 18 mph will increase fire
concerns today.

Given the expected weather conditions... any fires that do occur
could burn intensely and be difficult to contain. Caution should be
used if any open burning is planned.

Please stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio... your local media... or
go to www.Weather.Gov/Burlington for further updates and
potential red flag warnings on this fire weather situation.
