The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
southern Berkshire County in western Massachusetts...
southeastern Columbia County in east central New York...

* until 900 PM EDT

* at 606 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in
the advisory area. Rainfall amounts of around an inch have already
fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Great Barrington... Lee... Copake... Sheffield... Becket... Otis...
Blandford... Sandisfield... Middlefield... Housatonic... Stockbridge...
Hillsdale... New Marlborough... Monterey... Alford... Tyringham...
Berkshire Heights... Williamsville... Copake Falls and East
Hillsdale.

Additional rainfall of another inch or so is expected over the area.
Runoff from this additional rain will cause minor flooding.

10 miles west of Great Barrington... moving east at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm.

Sandisfield... Tolland... Ashley Falls... Housatonic... Hillsdale... New
