Now
A decaying complex of showers...accompanied by an embedded thunderstorm or two...will continue dropping south across eastern Arkansas and northwest Mississippi...and will move into central Mississippi and possibly northeast Louisiana by mid morning. Heavy downpours with rainfall amounts ranging between a half an inch and one inch...occasional lightning strikes...and wind gusts to 35 mph will be possible with any storms through 9 am. The shower and thunderstorm activity that makes up this complex has been on the decline over the past couple of hours...and is expected to diminish further as we move into the mid morning hours.
