Now
The strongest line of thunderstorms continues to track east across far southern Nebraska and northern Kansas. At 530 am...this line extended from near Hebron southward to just east of Salina. Light rain extends for 50 to 75 miles behind the leading band of the thunderstorms. At 530 am...the back end of the light rain in Kansas ran from around Smith Center to Osborne. This area of rain will continue to slide eastward and out of the area over the next hour or two. Further north...at 530 am...there were just a few light showers across central Nebraska extending from around Loup City...to Lexington...and then down to Holdrege and Franklin. This area of light showers will also be sliding to the east towards the Tri Cities and will likely be weakening through 7 am.
