... Wind Advisory in effect from 8 am this morning to 3 PM EST
this afternoon...
The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 8 am this morning to 3 PM EST
this afternoon.
Winds are expected to increase across the area after Sunrise. East
winds are expected to become sustained at 20 to 25 mph with
frequent gusts to around 35 mph.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or higher or
frequent gusts of 35 mph or higher are expected. Winds this
strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution. Make sure to secure loose objects as
they can be blown around by winds this strong.
