At 4:54 PM... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to indicate a broad area of light snow across much of eastern Oklahoma and across parts of western Arkansas. Several bands of moderate snow were occurring in the northeast and southeast parts of Oklahoma. Through 7 PM... the snow is expected to persist throughout much of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas while slowly shifting eastward. Most locations will receive less than an inch of accumulation. Isolated amounts of one to two inches may occur from the heavier bands.

The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 5 am Saturday to
midnight CST Saturday night and a Winter Weather Advisory is in
effect...

For the following counties...
* in Oklahoma... Tulsa... Rogers... Pawnee... Ottawa... Washington...
   Osage... Craig and Nowata.

Hazardous weather...
* bands of light to moderate snow will continue to spread across
   eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas this afternoon...
   including a heavier band of snow near a Pawnee... Hominy... Big
   Cabin line. 1 to 2 inch snow amounts are expected with locally
   higher amounts in the heavier snow bands.

   Additional areas of snow will spread across northeast Oklahoma
   and northwest Arkansas during the day Saturday with an additional
   2 to 3 inches possible... especially along the Oklahoma... Kansas
   and Arkansas... Missouri state lines.

Impacts...
* temperatures remain well below freezing and roads in the
   advisory area will become slick and very hazardous...
   especially on bridges and overpasses and non-treated surfaces.

   accumulate on roadways.
