The Rebuilding Continues
It has been one year since an EF3 tornado ripped through the town of West Liberty, Ky., scattering cars and buildings like toys across the landscape as a result of its 140-mph winds. It cut a path miles long, leaving more than a dozen people dead. Mike Bettes, meteorologist for The Weather Channel, returned to the town this week and captured some photos to mark the progress of the cleanup. First will be an image of a landmark damaged by the twister, and if you click through to the next page, you'll see how it looks now.
