The slow warming trend continues on Good Friday, but the day may still start below freezing as far south as Charlotte, N.C.
The warming trend should bring daytime highs into the 50s for parts of the Ohio Valley and into the 60s as far north as the Northern High Plains. Highs in the 70s could reach as far north as the Nebraska Panhandle, and without the typical gusty south winds that often accompany March warming trends on the Plains, it will be ideal weather to enjoy the outdoors.
Farther south, the warmer weather could set the stage for a few isolated thunderstorms in parts of Texas and Oklahoma.
