Severe Thunderstorm Watch for:

=new= Mont-tremblant park - Saint-Michel-des-Saints
Mont-Laurier
Upper Gatineau - Lievre - Papineau.
Weather conditions for these regions are favourable to the
development of severe thunderstorms. Some of these could
produce large hailstones - high winds - heavy rain and intense
lightning.
People in these regions should take the necessary precautions
and listen for subsequent weather warnings, particularly a
severe weather warning which may be issued as severe weather
becomes imminent.
This watch is in effect from 09:00 am to 12:30 PM EDT.
Severe Thunderstorm Warning for:
maniwaki - gracefield area
Papineau-LaBelle Reserve area
Low - Wakefield area
Lievre river area
fort William - Shawville area.
Very intense cells, in a line of thunderstorms moving through
eastern Pontiac region, are approaching the area between
Shawville and maniwaki and are moving northeastward at 60 km/h.
These thunderstorms will produce mostly heavy rain in a short
period of time but gusts of 90 km/h or more - hailstones of
2 cm or more and frequent lightning are likely.
People in these regions should take the necessary precautions
and listen for subsequent weather warnings.
