an upper low pressure system situated over the Washington and Oregon
states will remain quasi-stationary over the next few days.
Moisture wrapping around the system will continue to produce
respectable rainfall amounts to sections of the kootenays and the
southern interior today and tonight. Additional rainfall amounts of
20 to 30 mm are likely by Thursday morning over the warned regions.
The band of wrap-around moisture is slated to shift eastward tonight
and will affect mainly the eastern sections of the kootenays on
Thursday where an additional 10 to 15 mm of rain can be expected.
Please refer to the latest public forecasts for further details.
