==Discussion==
an intense Pacific frontal system is situated in a north south line
through Vancouver Island. Ahead of the system strong southeast wind
of 60 to 80 km/h have developed over the southern sections of Howe
Sound and the other above mentioned regions. The winds will ease
later this morning in the wake of the front.
The front will also give rain at times heavy to Howe Sound and the
North Shore mountains today and tonight. Total rainfall amounts up
to 60 mm are expected with lesser amounts of 20 to 30 mm for Metro
Vancouver before the front moves inland later today.
