Rain, at times heavy, is expected.

Rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 mm are expected tonight through Tuesday

An upper disturbance moving in from the Pacific tonight will bring
increasing amounts of moisture and instability. Showers or
thunderstorms are developing this evening and will become widespread
over much of the southern interior on Tuesday, with the potential
for localized higher rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 mm tonight through
Tuesday. The showers will taper off on Wednesday.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for
possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.

Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
Please monitor local media or weatheradio. To report severe weather,
send an email to pacificstorm(at)ec.Gc.CA or tweet reports to (hash)bcstorm.
