Severe Thunderstorm Warning for:
=new= Portneuf area
=new= valcartier - Stoneham area
=new= Lotbiniere area.
Another line of intensifying showers/thunderstorms from Ste
Anne-De-La-Perade to Victoriaville, is moving northeastward at
60 km/h. These thunderstorms will produce gusts of 90 km/h or
more or heavy rain. Hail is unlikely and lightning will be
moderate.
Public in these regions should take the required precautions
and listen for subsequent weather warnings.
This warning is in effect from 03:55 PM to 05:00 PM EDT.
Severe Thunderstorm Watch for:
Upper Gatineau - Lievre - Papineau
Pontiac
Drummondville - Bois-Francs
Quebec.
Weather conditions for these regions are favourable to the
development of heavy thunderstorms. Some could produce
significant rain amount and frequent lightning locally.
Gusts in excess of 90 km/h and hail is also possible but
unlikely.
Public in these regions should be on the lookout for weather
conditions and listen for subsequent watches and especially
warnings to be issued in case of severe weather.
