Hazardous winter conditions are expected.

An intensifying low pressure system will track across Nova Scotia
into the Gulf of St Lawrence tonight. Snow, at times heavy, will
persist over southeastern New Brunswick tonight, and strong
northerly winds will give frequent blowing snow and significantly
reduced visibilities. Conditions will improve overnight or early
Sunday morning. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 35 centimetres are
expected.

Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.

Winter storm warnings are issued when multiple types of severe
winter weather are expected to occur together.

Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
