Snowfall, with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected.

A low pressure system in central Saskatchewan will bring snowfall to
parts of the province today.

Snow has developed and will continue until the late afternoon.
Snowfall amounts will be highly variable, as there is some
instability in the airmass and temperatures remain near zero. In
general, 10 to 15 cm of heavy, wet snow can be expected, but
isolated amounts of 25 cm aren't out of the question.

Snowfall will taper off by Wednesday afternoon or evening.

Snowfall warnings are issued when more than 10 cm of snow is
expected to fall in 12 hours or less.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing Road conditions.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces
such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become
difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
Please continue to monitor your local media or weatheradio for
further updates. If you would like to report severe weather, you can
call 1-800-239-0484 or send an email to storm(at)ec.Gc.CA or tweet

a low pressure system has moved through central Alberta and is now
in central Saskatchewan. Behind the low an area of snow will move
into central Alberta this morning. With some instability and
temperatures near or slightly above zero accumulations could vary
significantly. Local accumulations of 5 to 10 centimetres are
possible by this evening. Snow will taper off early this evening.

Strong northwesterly winds are forecast to develop this morning.
Winds gusting to 80 km/h are forecast in the lloydminster and
Camrose regions. Strong winds and snow may give locally reduced
visibility in blowing snow.

Please monitor the latest forecasts and warnings from Environment
Canada at www.Weather.Gc.CA.
