Severe Thunderstorm Watch for:

      Okotoks - High River - Claresholm
      Kananaskis - Canmore
      Medicine Hat - Bow Island - Suffield
      Cypress Hills Provincial Park - Foremost
      Lethbridge - Taber - Milk River
      Cardston - Fort Macleod - Magrath
      crowsnest pass - Pincher creek - Waterton lakes Nat. Park.

      Severe thunderstorms are possible this evening.

      This is an alert to the potential development of severe
      thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds.

      Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.
      If threatening weather approaches take immediate safety
      precautions.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning for:
      M.D. Of Willow Creek near Nanton and Parkland
      M.D. Of Ranchland.

      At 3:20 PM Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a
      severe thunderstorm 35 km west of Nanton moving east at
      20 km/h. Large hail and heavy downpours are the main threats of
      this storm.

      This is a warning that severe thunderstorms are imminent or
      occurring in these regions. Remember that some severe
      thunderstorms produce tornadoes. Listen for updated warnings.

an area of thunderstorms are developing over the foothills south of
Calgary. These thunderstorms will track eastwards tonight. Some
of these thunderstorms could become severe.

a warm humid airmass persists over southern Alberta and will set the
stage for thunderstorm development this afternoon. An area of
thunderstorms have developed over northwestern Montana and this area
is expected to move into southern Alberta this afternoon. Some of
these thunderstorms could become severe.
