Rainfall warning for:
west Vancouver Island.
Rainfall amounts up to 100 mm are expected over west
Vancouver Island tonight through Wednesday night.
This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected or

North Vancouver Island
Central Coast - Coastal Sections
North Coast - Coastal Sections
Queen Charlottes.
Southeast winds of 70 to 90 km/h will ease over the Queen
Charlottes tonight.
Southeast winds of 70 to 90 km/h expected over the exposed
coastal sections of the north coast central coast and North
Vancouver Island late this afternoon through tonight.
This is a warning that potentially damaging winds are expected
or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather

an intense Pacific frontal system approaching the British Columbia
coast is spreading strong southeast winds up to 90 km/h to the Queen
Charlottes. As the front advances southeast winds of up to 90 km/h
will develop over the exposed coastal sections of the north coast..
central coast..North Vancouver Island. The winds will gradually
abate tonight.
Meanwhile the front will move onto and stall over the South Coast
overnight spreading rain at times heavy to the area. Rainfall
warning has been issued for west Vancouver Island with rainfall
amounts of up to 100 mm expected tonight through Wednesday. The
warning may be extended to Howe Sound and other regions of the
South Coast this afternoon.
