Areas of wet weather will persist in Europe as multiple weather features affect the continent on Saturday. A low pressure system spinning in the Mediterranean Sea continues strengthening as is slightly advances eastward. This will trigger scattered showers across the Mediterranean countries throughout the day. Athens will see partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 50s(F)/ mid-teens(C) and rain showers developing in the evening, while Rome will see a wintry combination of rain and snow showers as highs lingering in the mid-30s(F)/ near 2(C).

To the west, high pressure quickly builds over the Iberian Peninsula from the North Atlantic Ocean. This will push moisture away, creating dry and pleasant weather. Cool temperatures will persist as this system pushes cool air in from the north. Barcelona will be sunny with highs in the mid-40s(F)/ near 6(C).

To the north, a ridge of high pressure over Scandinavia allows for dry weather to spread over the Baltic Sea and into central Europe. Flow around this system continues pushing cold and dry air in from the north, producing another chilly day. Paris will be mostly sunny with highs near 30(F)/ -1(C), while Munich will see partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper teens(F), -7(C).

In the northwest, another cold front will push through the British Isles by a low pressure system spinning over Iceland. This will trigger widespread rain and snow showers over Ireland and the United Kingdom throughout the day. London will see snow showers in the afternoon and evening hours, with highs in the upper 30s(F)/ near 3(C), while Dublin will see rain showers with highs in the upper 40s(F)/ near 9(C).
