Light to moderate rain continues across south central Nebraska... north of a Holdrege...Hastings...York line...in this area rainfall rates of a tenth of an inch per hour are common.....With heavier rain of around one quarter of an inch observed in Lexington... Overton...Loup City...and St Paul. Later this afternoon...much of the rain will be replaced by strong northwest winds across the area...northwest winds of 30 to 45 mph will be the norm by late afternoon...and a Wind Advisory has been posted for the area later today.
