    ... NOAA Weather Radio all-hazards station wxl-38 in Binghamton
    remains off the air...

    NOAA Weather Radio all-hazards station wxl-38 Binghamton New York is
    currently out of service. The problem is related to a phone circuit
    which carries the audio from our office to the transmitter. Our
    electronics technicians have been working in conjunction with
    telephone contractors to repair this problem as quickly as possible.

    At this time... a return to normal operations is unknown... but we are
    hoping for a solution in the next 24 to 48 hours.

    Some other NOAA stations that serve Broome County are as follows:
    wxm-95 Towanda 162.525 mhz... and khc-49 Norwich also on 162.525 mhz.
