northwest of Carlyle... and moving north at 20 mph.

Hazard... 60 mph wind gusts.

Statement as of 2:25 PM MDT on July 27, 2015

... High Wind Warning in effect from 9 am to 9 PM MDT Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Glasgow has issued a High Wind
Warning... which is in effect from 9 am to 9 PM MDT Tuesday. The
high wind watch is no longer in effect.

* Timing... 9 am Tuesday morning through 9 PM Tuesday evening.

* Winds... 30 to 45 mph gusting to 60 mph at times.

* Impacts... unsecured items and property could be blown
about... high profile vehicles will have difficulty with
Crosswinds.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

Take action to secure trash cans... lawn furniture... and other
loose or lightweight outdoor objects. High winds can topple
trees... blow weakened roofs off houses... and down power lines.
