The precipitation will stretch northeastward from near Zuni Pueblo and El Morro to Cuba...Lindrith...El Vado...Hopewell Lake and Chama. Snow accumulations through 10 PM will be light and favor areas above 8500 feet across the Tusas Mountains from near Lagunitas Lakes and the Cruces Basin Wilderness area southward to Canjilon Lakes. Rainfall accumulations will generally be less than one tenth of an inch.

Tuesday afternoon...
... Winter Storm Warning is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from Monday afternoon through
Tuesday afternoon. The Winter Storm Warning has been cancelled.

* Snow accumulations... potential for significant snow
accumulations of greater than 8 inches exists... favoring west
facing slopes.

* Timing... snow will become more widespread and heavy Monday
evening and overnight before tapering off Tuesday afternoon.

* Winds... southwest to west winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40
mph over ridgetops and open terrain.

* Snow levels... temperatures will be cold enough for snow at all
locations by early Monday evening.

* Local impacts... difficult travel conditions due to snow packed
and icy roadways are expected at times in the high country along
with reduced visibility in locally heavy snow and blowing snow.
