The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
central Cibola County in west central New Mexico...
southeastern McKinley County in west central New Mexico...

* until 1115 PM MDT

* at 820 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Much of central and eastern
Cibola County has already received one to to two inches of rain
with slow moving thunderstorms continuing over the area. Expect
excessive runoff to continue over portions of the Continental
Divide near and south of the Zuni Mountains and associated
creeks... arroyos... and streams.

* Locations impacted include...
Grants... Thoreau... Milan... Cubero... El Morro... Bluewater Lake State
Park... Prewitt... McCartys... Pine Hill and Cebolletita.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 52 and 108.

Other locations affected include the following locations
Coal Mine Canyon campground... ojo Redondo campground... Water Canyon
wildlife area... Narrows picnic area... La Ventana Arch... el Malpais
Ranger station... and El Morro National Monument.
