the Hassayampa and surrounding tributaries for the next 90 minutes
or so.

Some locations that may experience flooding include... Wagoner and
Walnut Grove.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Hassayampa
river... Minnehaha creek... Turkey Creek... milk creek... middlewater
creek... Ash Creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Areal Flood Advisory
Statement as of 9:21 PM MDT on July 05, 2015

... The Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory remains in effect until
1015 PM MST for central Yavapai County...

At 855 PM MST... Doppler radar indicates only light rain is occurring
in the advisory area south of Prescott... including the cities of
Dewey-Humboldt... Walker and Mayer. Gauge measurements reveal between
0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain fell within a 30 minute period on already
saturated ground within the advisory area. As a result... expect
elevated flow through normally dry washes for the next hour or so.

Some locations that may experience flooding include... Dewey-
Humboldt... Poland Junction... Ponderosa Park... Walker... Groom Creek
subdivision... Oak Knoll Village... Mayer... Spring Valley... White
Spar Campground... Lower Wolf Creek Campground... Lynx Lake dam and
upper Wolf Creek group campground.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Granite
creek... Butte Creek... Hassayampa river... Agua Fria river... big bug
creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.
