In addition...scattered thunderstorms also extend from eastern Santa Cruz County into southwest Cochise County in the Sierra Vista area. Storms are generating brief periods of heavy rain...strong gusty winds...hail and frequent lightning. Rainfall totals will generally be under half an inch due to the speed the storms are moving...locally higher amounts may be possible.

southwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
eastern Santa Cruz County in southeastern Arizona...

* until 900 PM MST

* at 600 PM MST... the public reported heavy rain in Sierra Vista
which has caused local Urban and Small Stream flooding. Additional
rain from new storms may aggravate or continue the minor
flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sierra Vista... Huachuca City... Sierra Vista southeast... Canelo...
Coronado National Memorial... Nicksville... Palominas... Fort
