The Flood Warning continues for
the Neches River near Weiss Bluff.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 11:00 am Tuesday the stage was near 16.6 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue falling to near 15.3 feet by
Sunday morning.
* Impact... at stages near 16.0 feet... moderate flooding will occur.
Water floods roadways and approaches homes near the river at Weiss
Bluff and Lakeview.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Neches River near town Bluff.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:46 am Tuesday the stage was 71.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 64.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 71.8 feet by
Wednesday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Impact... at stages near 70.0 feet... flooding can be expected
around Barlow Lake and Brushy Lake with some roads being cutoff and
some of the lowest properties near the river begin to flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Neches River at Rockland.
* Until Thursday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:00 am Tuesday the stage was 27.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
tomorrow early afternoon.
* Impact... at 28.0 feet... water will begin to flood several secondary
roadways especially in the smith's Ferry community.

1029 am CDT Mon Jun 1 2015

... A Flood Warning remains in effect until 630 PM CDT Friday for
northwestern Orange... east central Hardin and southern Jasper
counties...

At 1023 am CDT... reporting gauges indicated flooding along the
Neches River from near Weiss Bluff to the saltwater barrier. The
water levels are estimated to be near 16.4 feet and the latest
reading at the saltwater barrier is 7.5 feet. The river is forecast
to rise to 16.6 feet by late Tuesday evening... and then begin
falling.

These water levels will continue to result in moderate flooding to
low lying communities along the river in northwest Orange County
from around Lake View to the saltwater barrier through Friday.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lakeview and Weiss Bluff.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely. Move to higher ground.
