The Flood Warning continues for
the Elm Fork Trinity River near Carrollton.
* At 0315 am Friday the stage was 9.13 feet.
* Flood stage is 8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to a crest near 10 feet
by Friday morning then begin falling but remain above flood stage.
* At 10 feet, moderate flooding will occur on the Highway on the right
bank.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Trinity River at Dallas.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 0200 am Friday the stage was 35.96 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to a crest near 40 feet
by Friday evening then begin falling but remain above flood stage
for the next several days.
* At 41 feet, major flooding is occurring both upstream and downstream
from the gage. Dallas City packing 4 miles downstream starts to
flood.Old Forest Avenue bridge closed. Water reaches the foundation
of the oxichem plant 6 miles south of Commerce St.

... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 430 am CDT for
Dallas County...

At 321 am CDT... Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across downtown Dallas and
across the northeastern part of Dallas County... including
Garland and surrounding locations. Up to three inches of rain have
already fallen across central and eastern Dallas County. An
additional two inches of rain is possible through sunrise.

Flash flooding is occurring with numerous roads now dangerous and
impassible. Multiple high water rescues are occurring. Travel has
become impossible in many areas. If you live in a low lying area
near a creek or stream be prepared to move to higher ground should
waters rise to your location.

* Flood Warning for
the West Fork Trinity River at Grand Prairie.
* Until Sunday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 0130 am Friday the stage was 24.99 feet.
* Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river should rise above flood stage by Friday
overnight and continue to rise to a crest near 30 feet by Friday
morning. The river should fall below flood stage by Sunday after
midnight.
* At 30 feet, moderate flooding will occur along the lowland areas of
the river.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the White Rock creek near White Rock creek at Greenville Ave.
* Until this evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 115 am Friday the stage was 76.11 feet.
* Flood stage is 84.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river should rise above flood stage overnight and
continue to rise to a crest near 88 feet by early
Friday morning. The river should fall below flood stage by late
Friday morning.
* At 88 feet, moderate flooding will occur near the creek, with a few
Road closures necessary.

through Saturday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of north central Texas and northeast Texas...
including the following areas... in north central Texas...
Bosque... Collin... Comanche... Cooke... Dallas... Denton...
Eastland... Ellis... Erath... Fannin... Grayson... Hamilton...
Hill... Hood... Hunt... Jack... Johnson... Kaufman... Mills...
Montague... Navarro... Palo Pinto... Parker... Rockwall...
Somervell... Stephens... Tarrant... wise and Young. In northeast
