At 7:00 am...National Weather Service Doppler radars continued to detect a complex of showers and thunderstorms moving southward from southern Kansas toward northeast Oklahoma. A few widely scattered showers and storms had developed ahead of the complex across portions of northeast Oklahoma...mainly within Craig and Ottawa counties. All this activity was moving toward the southeast around 25 miles per hour. Through 8:30 am...widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue across Craig and Ottawa counties. Brief heavy rain and dangerous lightning will be possible with these storms. The complex of showers and thunderstorms will move into far northeast Oklahoma...mainly affecting locations along and north of a line from Grainola to Fayetteville. Some of these storms could become strong to severe near the Oklahoma...Kansas state line with quarter size hail and strong damaging winds.
