The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at index, Arkansas near Texarkana.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1230 am Wednesday the stage was 30.5 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 31.0 feet by this
Wednesday afternoon then begin falling.
* Impact... at 31.5 feet... a 24 hour Flood Watch will commence at the
index bridge on U.S. Highway 71. The bridge is in danger of being
overtopped and closed.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at Fulton, Arkansas.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 800 am Wednesday the stage was 31.3 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 27 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 31.8 feet by
after Thursday morning then begin falling.
* Impact... at 32.0 feet... farmers and ranchers highly advised to
evacuate cattle and machinery to higher ground in the Little River
valley below Millwood Lake to the confluence of the little and red
rivers. Expect extensive flooding in and near levees.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River near DeKalb, Texas.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 800 am Wednesday the stage was 34.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24 feet.
* Forecast... the river will recede to near 33.9 feet by Thursday morning.
Also the Red River crested at Pecan Point at 34.9 feet during Tuesday,
June 2.
* Impact... at 34.5 feet... near record flooding of some twenty thousand
acres will continue. Severe backwater flooding of Pecan and Nolan
bayous occurs. The U.S. Highway 259 bridge approaches flood. Texas
Highway bridges 8 and 37 will likely flood and close. Move
livestock and equipment to higher ground.
