Special Statement
Statement as of 4:25 AM EST on March 02, 2015

Low pressure will bring a wintry mix to the region late tonight
through Tuesday evening. Precipitation is expected to begin as
snow late tonight with light accumulations possible... especially
north of I-80 where 1 to 3 inches may fall. As temperatures
warm... snow is expected to transition to sleet and freezing rain
for a period and could produce a glaze up to a tenth of an inch of
ice on untreated surfaces during the morning commute. Temperatures
will continue to warm and precipitation should change to rain
from the south during the afternoon hours before precip begins to
taper from the west during the evening.

Morning commuters should allow extra time to reach their
destination and be prepared for icy conditions on untreated
roadways and elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses.
