Statement as of 12:03 PM EST on March 03, 2015

... Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until 1 PM EST this
afternoon...
... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Wednesday afternoon
through Thursday afternoon...

* hazard types... light ice accumulation today and potential
heavy snow Wednesday into Thursday.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches... along
with a couple hundredths of ice accumulation.

* Timing... light freezing rain or drizzle will continue change to
rain by early afternoon. Snow will move into the area on
Wednesday and remain across the region through Thursday.

* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions are possible due to
reduced visibilities and snow accumulations. Light amounts of
icing will cause some roads and sidewalks to become slippery.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Remember... a Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for
significant snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact
travel. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts. Stay tuned to
NOAA Weather Radio or your favorite source of information for the
latest updates. Additional details can also be found at
www.Weather.Gov/iln as well as on our facebook and twitter pages.

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
