... Freeze warning remains in effect from midnight tonight to
11 am EDT Sunday...

* locations... portions of the North Carolina foothills and
Piedmont... along with far northeast Georgia... and upstate South
Carolina.

* Temperatures... lows tonight ranging from the mid teens in the
higher elevations of the mountains... to the mid 20s in the
Piedmont. By tomorrow afternoon most areas will warm into the
50s.

* Impacts... very cold temperatures will kill sensitive
vegetation that has already started to grow this season.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
