Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 4:07 PM EST Feb. 9, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am EST
Wednesday...

* locations... southeastern Pennsylvania... portions of northern
and central New Jersey.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches.

* Timing... snow will be moderate to heavy at times into this
evening then taper to flurries late at night.

* Impacts... accumulating snow will affect travel... especially
during the evening commute in southeast Pennsylvania and west
central New Jersey. Even the Wednesday morning commute may be
affected by the last batches of snow leaving the area. Road
conditions will likely deteriorate during times of heavier
snowfall rates. Remember... bridges and other elevated surfaces
tend to become slippery first. Icy stretches of untreated
pavement are likely to persist through sunrise Wednesday.

* Temperatures... around 32 falling into the upper 20s late.

* Winds... northeast 5 to 10 mph becoming west toward morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.

Report snow and ice accumulation to the National Weather Service
by calling our trained spotter line... posting to the NWS Mount
Holly facebook Page... or using twitter @nws_mountholly.

Snowfall and ice accumulation forecast maps in addition to
experimental probabilistic snowfall information for the latest
event are available online at www.Weather.Gov/phi/winter
