... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EST this
evening...

* locations... North Woods... Central Highlands... and central and
southern Aroostook County.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 6 inches.

* Timing... snow will develop from south to north across the
region tonight and will reach the Saint John valley after
midnight. Snow will taper to snow showers from south to north
Tuesday afternoon into early evening.

* Impacts... low. Roads will become snow covered and slippery
tonight and Tuesday.

* Winds... north 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
