... Lake effect snow watch in effect from 1 am EST Wednesday
through Thursday afternoon...

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a lake
effect snow watch... which is in effect from 1 am EST Wednesday
through Thursday afternoon.

* Snow accumulations... 6 inches or more possible... especially
across the northwest half of Warren County.

* Timing... snow late tonight and Wednesday will transition to lake
effect snow showers and squalls by Wednesday night and continue
into Thursday.

* Impacts... snow covered roads and reduced visibility during
heavier snow showers and squalls.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake effect snow watch means there is a potential for
significant lake effect snow in parts of the area in the next
