A high surf advisory remains in effect from noon today to 6 PM
HST Tuesday.

* Surf... along east facing shores... building to 5 to 8 feet by
late this afternoon... 8 to 12 feet tonight... and 10 to 14 feet
Monday.

* Timing... surf will build this afternoon and tonight... peaking
Monday night.

* Impacts... moderate... expect strong breaking waves... shore
break... and strong longshore and rip currents making swimming
difficult and dangerous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions... beachgoers... swimmers... and
surfers should heed all advice given by ocean safety officials
and exercise caution. Boaters should expect recreational surfers
and body boarders utilizing Harbor channels to access surfing
areas.
