the Cypress Creek at Worthington Gardens
* until further notice.
* At 9 PM Monday the stage was 9.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* The river will remain near its current level for the next several days.
* Impact... at 8.0 feet... flooding begins at the Recreation Area
on State Road 54.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest
of 8.8 feet on Sep 30 2013.

... The Flood Warning continues for
the Anclote River at Elfers
* until Friday morning.
* At 9 PM Monday the stage was 24.0 feet and rising rapidly.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 26.1 feet by Tuesday afternoon.
The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Friday morning.
* Impact... at 24.0 feet... five homes in Anclote River estates flood.
* Impact... at 23.0 feet... evacuation recommended for residents of Anclote
River estates. Over 300 homes in the area may need to be evacuated.
* Impact... at 22.0 feet... there is water over the roadway along the Elfers
Parkway.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous
crest of 26.8 feet on Jun 26 2012.

... Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of FL and west central Florida... including the
following in FL... coastal ... Citrus... coastal Hernando...
coastal Hillsborough... coastal Levy... coastal Pasco... inland
Citrus... inland Hernando... inland Hillsborough... inland Levy
and inland Pasco. In west central Florida... Pinellas.

* Through this evening

* the potential for scattered excessive rainfall through today
with localized additional accumulation totals exceeding 2
inches. Rainfall is not expected to be as widespread today...
however any additional localized rainfall will renew the areal
flooding threat.

* Highly saturated soils and the potential for additional heavy
rainfall will continue the risk of widespread areal and street
flooding. If possible... clear drainage systems of any debris
which may become clogged in flooding rains.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means that flooding is possible during the next
24 to 36 hours. Residents living in flood prone areas should take
action to protect property.
