Northwestern Lake County in northeastern Minnesota...

* until 430 am CDT

* at 127 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates indicate three
to fives inches of rain have fallen over the past three hours.
Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

At 357 am CDT... strong thunderstorms were along a line extending from
6 miles east of canyon to 10 miles west of Port Wing to near
Bayfield... and moving south at 30 mph.

Wind gusts up to 35 mph... heavy downpours... and frequent cloud to
ground lightning can be expected with these storms.
