Flash Flood Watch
Statement as of 3:03 PM EDT on July 07, 2015

... Flash Flood Watch in effect from 8 PM EDT this evening through
Wednesday morning...

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of western Maryland... east
central Ohio... southwest Pennsylvania and West Virginia...

* from 8 PM EDT this evening through Wednesday morning

* an approaching frontal boundary will bring moderate to heavy
rain across the watch area. Localized rainfall totals of 1 to 2
inches will be possible... which could cause flooding of small
creeks and streams as well as impacts to roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
