A weather system to keep an eye on for Tuesday. A low pressure
system will develop along the eastern Seaboard Monday. It will move
northeastward and track just south of the border Tuesday. It will
then move to lie near the Gaspe Peninsula Wednesday. The track of
this system is still uncertain. This low could potentially give
significant snowfall amounts over southern, central and eastern
Quebec beginning late Monday or early Tuesday. The snow could be
mixed with freezing rain, particularly over the Gaspe Peninsula
Tuesday evening as the low passes. Further details about snowfall
accumulations expected in each area will be provided as the
situation develops.
